The Childern of Lir is a famous tale of King Lir and his Children. Its a beautiful but sad story. King Lir had four children, he loved them so much that their step mother became so jealous of his love for them that she cast a spell on the children. They were turned into swans for 900 years. Left with only their beautiful human voices, people came from all over the land to hear the legendary singing of the swans.
